Trout Fishing in West Virginia

My wife and I like to go to West Virginia trout fishing twice a year. Usually in the spring and fall. The picture is from a fall  fishing trip. The trout is a Rainbow 25 1/2 inches long.

On our first trip together to West Virginia I had spent about a month expounding to her about my ability to catch extremely big trout. Of course she went along on my trips down the stream and carried a camera. Unfortunately, for me, the only fish that showed up on film was very hard to see. (I believe it was about 4 inches long)

My wife thoroughly enjoyed watching me  wade in over my waders after she had cautioned me that the water appeared very deep. But, of course I had just explained to her that a fisherman with my experience could always judge the depth of and would never get my drawers wet. ( The water was very cold).

For some reason she is outfitting Odie (Our Golden Retriever) with stealth swimming gear. ( My golf game is terrible too).
